Over 90% of the issues seen with ICP-OES are caused by the sample introduction system. Many of these issues are caused by simply using the incorrect sample introduction system setup for the sample matrix being analyzed. In this tutorial, you will learn what sample introduction components must be used to ensure successful analysis of your application. The correct setup for standard aqueous, high total dissolved solids, samples containing hydrofluoric (HF) acid, and various organic solvents will be discussed.
